The application conditions of gold smelting have higher temperatures and stronger corrosiveness than general slurry pumping application. This requires the use of specially designed rubber and corrosion-resistant alloy for valve material. Since high hardness particle such as chromite may also appear in hot slurry, the selected alloy also requires good resistance of abrasion. This places high demands on alloy processing and heat treatment.
The nickel cobalt smelting condition is currently the toughness application we have ever met. Since rubber cannot be used in this condition, choosing materials that are wear-resistance, corrosion-resistance and good toughness is the key to improving the service life.
